When we sit together as the Conzentric team, we also do a few “fun” projects. Like tangling on Katharina’s UGG boots.
We certainly have a lot to prepare for the upcoming seminars at the moment. Besides all the very important planning, ponder and making far-reaching decisions during our meetings, it’s also very import to simply tangle.
Admittedly, there was also an inhibition threshold for us to tangle directly onto a shoe with the knowledge that there is definitely no turning back. But that’s exactly what makes the Zentangle method so special: after a while you forget it, you dive into the drawing and tangling has the same effect as on a tile. It’s relaxing and you can’t stop! So Ela and Jennifer finished my two boots completely during our meeting.
We used the IdentiPen from Sakura. IdentiPen is a permanent marker with alcohol-based ink. It has a wider tip and a fine plastic tip, which we used for tangling. We have dispensed with shading. Since this is not my first boot that I have decorated with an IdentiPen, I can say with a clear conscience that it really stays very well.
We hope to inspire you with this video and maybe now you want to decorate your shoes as well. We are looking forward to your comment in any case.
